The Monster Hybrid category represents a departure from ‘normal’ sized drumming implements by synergizing organic and/or synthetic materials with sound and function unlike other categories within Headhunters Creations.
Bear Claws:
Bear Claws create some unique sound possibilities. The handle has steel beads and can be used to end to end for an effective shaker sound. The polyrod material is fared and the ends are molded to a 90-degree bend creating the ‘claw’. With the claws in a swatting position, they can be used to create cool scratch effects on coated heads and when striking, they have more definition. By flipping them over or ‘knuckles’ down, they will sound similar to our other polyrod brushes but, the steel beads have added another sound dimension within this texture.
